Profile

Karen commenced full practice in 2016 after completing her pupillage with Ms Anita Yip S.C., Mr Derek Chan S.C., Mr Erik Shum, and Mr Simon Lam.  Karen has a broad civil practice with an emphasis on family law.  Karen has been involved in various matrimonial cases including:-

  • Custody, and care and control proceedings between married or unmarried couples;
  • Child Relocation;
  • Wardship proceedings;
  • Hague Convention;
  • Parentage orders;
  • Domestic Violence; and
  • Financial and ancillary relief proceedings involving local and cross-border marriages.

 

Karen has appeared in the Court of Appeal, Court of First Instance, the District Court, the Family Court, the Lands Tribunal and the Magistrates’ Court.
